I’ve done photography since 2002, became an official business in 2006. I
I’ve relocated my business out of state twice.
In the 12 years of officially being in business, I’ve had 2 in-home setups and 3 different store fronts.
When we moved to South Jersey for my husband’s job, I knew I wanted in-home space again.
My husband wanted lots of land.
We found an older home, which we’ve made our own. It sits on 4 acres of woods.
I have an office space with it’s own entrance.
I took a year off from photography to try homeschooling, and put my heart on my children.
First break in 10 years.
And I began this creative journey.
I will continue to shoot here and there, but I am following the pull.
The pull of creation.
In all forms.
And I’m so grateful you’re here with me.
So after getting my office amazingly refinished, I had to put all my stuff back in. 🙁
Eventually I’ll have beautiful shelves and a system.
I have glorious visions for that.
In the meantime it’s become a catching ground of clutter again.
So here I go to tidy it and make space to shoot in!
This little lady’s mom let me record some behind the scenes for our session.
I am happy with the images I got, and love my new high-key office.
I loved taking a break from photography.
I found out… I still love it.
