Lessons from my 10th grade Art Teacher

Growing up, I had lots of creative experiences. My artist mother opened doors many other kids only dream of.

But of all my art teachers over the years, it was my 10th grade art teacher that won my heart most of all.
She challenged me and made me think and grow differently than other teachers had.

I’ve kept in touch with her over the years.
First with thank you cards.
Eventually social media.

She saw I was in town this week, and offered for me and my kids to join her art party.

I am so glad she did.
