I have a few friends who post one thing they are thankful for EVERY day of November.
It’s adorable.
Really!
But me?? I can hardly do ANYthing 28-31 days in a row.
This year, something’s different.
I don’t feel a tinge of guilt when I see their grateful shares. I don’t feel a comparison of their lives to mine.
Why?
Because I’m doing things my own way.
Instead of being paralyzed by all my good intentions I have year after year but NEVER do…
I just follow my joy.
We’re a new homeschooling family, and I love our weekly co-op.
I get to help kids do creative things.
This week they played with metal sheets. And she had one for me. 🙂
So I made myself some fall decor. I left school with “Give Thanks” and a leaf.
That evening I got to have a date-in with my husband and create while we watched a movie together.
You guys, I’ve ALWAYS wanted something I could do while watching a movie.
Some people knit while cozied up on the couch?
Not me. Oh, my. It hurts my brain too much. I don’t get it…. yet.
So I guess I’m excited to share with you that I’m MAKING something, and feeling no guilt or comparison about it.
I hope you find something this month to create.
To feel joy about.
And I hope you share it with me too. I can’t wait to hear all about it.
