Don’t let the fog evaporate

Have you ever woken to a beautiful foggy morning?
Then you rush to get the kids ready for school, or take a shower, and gather your things…
… and you look outside and the fog is gone?

Maybe you haven’t thought much about it.
But I love fog.

Do you know what my favorite thing to do is on a foggy morning?
Be out in it, to feel the stillness.
And to capture that depth of stillness with my camera.

There’s something incredibly magical about fog.
It can’t be where blustery winds pass through.
It can’t be where scorching rising sunbeams pierce.
It is fleeting.

But if you walk out into it, you will feel the stillness.
Everything is fresh and quiet.
The air is thicker, greener.

The earth itself seems to be settled.

But this fog is a brief visitor.
It can be gone in a matter of minutes.
Or seconds.

In the video below, my husband woke me.
He knows how much I adore photographing foggy mornings.

I decided to document it.
And I was surprised with the insights that came as I went.
Watch below to share them with me, and then I want to hear your response.

And I have a download for you, my dear reader.
3 beautiful foggy morning inspirational phone lock screens. Enter your info below and they are yours.

Will you tell me how you like them?

Explore where your heart is pulling you.

Till next time!! xoxo amber
